  I recently visited Nina for Japanese accupuncture After 15 minutes of lisining to how she believed she was so very qualified more than anyone else and how it would change my life she inserted the fine silver needles and left the room for 20 minutes to attend to another persons treatment. After about 10 minutes the needles started to sting and hurt. She then returned telling me I would need ten treatments mmmmm. That night I came out in large red lumps which became painful and itchy from where the needles were inserted and 2 weeks later it's still unbearable. I contacted her to be told to have more treatments on her advice as I had toxins. Well as a health fanatic and being super fit I was pretty peeved to be told this and offended actually to be lectured on health and nutrition by this person whom I did not view to practice what she preaches in my opinion. I also do not recommend these needles as they obviously react with ones skin as I do not have sensitive skin nor lots of toxins. I personally wouldn't ever ever have them again and regret it deeply. Where the needles were inserted is still painful and swollen with no signs of improving. Regretful and do not recommend this practice based on my experience at all
